What is runecrafting?

Excellent question.

Runecrafting is our custom enchantment system. The process involves finding runes, which can be acquired at “Runic Locales” (or, very rarely, randomly throughout the world) and then taking the runes and a book to the Arcanum (found at /warp Arcanum). You use 5 runes and the book at the Arcanum to craft a Runecrafted Enchantment.

Each of these Runecrafted Enchantments has its own recipe. To find the correct runes for your enchant you can simply type ‘/lexicon <Enchantment name>’ in-game or you can check them out here on our website!

Where can i find runes?

Another great question.

The most consistent way to get most runes is to farm the mobs found at Runic Locales, however, most runes also have a secondary drop option. More info below.

    • Found at the Mystic Grove Runic Locale

    • Randomly drops while enchanting

  • Aegis

    • Found at the Soulbound Runic Locale

    • Awarded upon winning a raid

  • Chills

    • Found at the Rime Runic Locale

    • Occasionally while digging powdered snow

  • Cinders

    • Found at the Igneous Hollow Runic Locale

    • Occasionally pops out of a furnace while smelting items

  • Gusts

    • Found at the Terados Runic Locale

    • Occasionally found in high elevation End City chests

  • Kinesis

    • Found at the Kuiper Runic Locale

    • Drops occasionally near explosions
